This weeks Summer In The City post is all about enjoying national treasures, the Canadian National Exhibition and band Blue Rodeo.
The CNE returns to Toronto on August 17 and runs until September 3. Check out the food, rides, concerts, air show and so much more. We remember coming home from The Ex as kids with goldfish in plastic bags…eating cotton candy and roaming the midway with our friends as teenagers…and this year some of us will be taking our own kids. Blue Rodeo has been around since 1984 and they haven't stopped playing their haunting mix of pop, country and rock since. Jim Cuddy, Greg Keelor and the boys will be playing Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre on August 18th along with Great Lake Swimmers. Tickets at www.ticketmaster.ca
